The Connie Hansen Garden is located in Lincoln City, Oregon, about 2 hours from
Portland, or an easy hour plus drive from Salem.
When you approach from the north, you will be entering Lincoln City on Hwy 101.
Turn right (west) on 34th Street (the first street past Motel 6). You will be circling
the Garden on your left. Go left on Oar Street, which will be the first street on the
left. Go left again after the stop sign on Oar, onto 33rd Street, and find the entrance
to the parking area on the left.
From the south, turn west onto 33rd Street from Hwy 101, which will be immediately
after you pass a high bank on your left and the Little Antique Mall on the east side
of the highway. Proceed a little over a block to the Garden entrance on the right.
Watch for the 113.3 mile marker banner, keyed to the Oregon Coast Magazine
"US 101 Mile by Mile Travel Guide". It is on a pole between NW 33rd and
34th. Turn west on the next street and you can proceed easily to the Garden.
There is parking for 12 cars. Tour busses will need to discharge passengers from
the street, as the access to the parking area will not accommodate over-length
vehicles. There are entrances to the Garden from both 33rd and 34th Streets,
which are not heavily traveled. Please inquire for specific instructions if necessary.
